Welcome 2019 Exhibiting Artists. Here are gathered forms, special instructions and other resources needed for the 2019 show. We thank you for your generous contribution and look forward to an amazing weekend.

2019 Artist Information Highlights

  • Artist Check-in and Setup:  Friday, September 27th 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM and Saturday, September 28th 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM.   Artists must show a photo ID prior to picking up their packets in the Main Garage before setup.  Artists can drive directly – or close – to their booths for ease in unloading.

  • Show Times:  Art in the Barn will run from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM on both Saturday and Sunday.  The artist whose work was juried is required to be present during the entire duration of the show.

  • Artist Parking: Upon check-in, artists will receive a pass to park in the reserved artist parking areas east and south of the show grounds.

  • Artist Sales:  All sales transactions will be handled by the individual artists.  Two ATMs are available in the Main Garage.

  • Artist Relief:  Booth Sitters – wearing red vests – will be circulating throughout the show to provide breaks for artists and offer bottled water.

  • Artist Awards:  Artistic Excellence awards of $150 each will be given in 14 categories (Acrylic, Ceramics, Drawing, Fiber, Glass, Jewelry, Mixed Media, Oil, Pastels, Photography, Printmaking, Sculpture, Watercolor, and Wood).  The Best of Show award in the amount of $500 will be presented in celebration of our 45th Anniversary.

  • Raffle:  Artist donations for the raffle will be accepted in the Main Garage during artist check-in.

  • Security:  Security personnel will be on site for the duration of the show and will patrol the grounds overnight.

  • Artist Lounge and Artist Reception:  The lounge is located in the Pear Tree Café just north of the Mill Room.  The Artist Reception will be held Saturday at 5:00 PM in the lounge.  Please RSVP at check-in.

Artist Application

We welcome artists from all mediums to submit their work for consideration. Every artist at Art in the Barn is chosen by a team of Jurors representing every field of art and a diversity of experience.  See the 2019 participating artists.

The application deadline for this year's program has passed.  Future applications can be accessed here and must be submitted by April. Any questions, please contact the Artist Committee at artinthebarn@comcast.net.
